Message From the Couple
Both of us are super excited to celebrate the next step in our lives, with the people we love the most. This week will be such a fun and relaxing experience for all, and something we can remember forever. We sincerely appreciate people taking the time and energy to come down to Mexico, it means the world to us.
About Us
I Becca, met Collin through mutual friends who thought we would be a good fit. Quickly it was clear that we were going to hit it off. We bonded right away through so many shared interests. It felt like we never ran out of things to talk about. Soon after meeting we took a few trips to Seattle and Fort Lauderdale together. I am slowly turning Collin into a beach guy and cannot be more excited about it. We realized, not only are we great together but we travel well together too.
Things escalated into us creating a home in Berkley together with our two kitties Margo and Buddha. Although they do not always love each other we get endless love and laughter from them. Our personalities compliment each other so well, Collin is so extraverted and adventurous and pushes me to try new things. At the same time I can ground him and give us the ability to have quality time. We love to try new restaurants and bars and are adventurous with food. (Collin is also a great cook) To keep active we do hot yoga together (shoutout Community Yoga Studio) and love to go on walks.
This summer, Collin gave me the shock (in the best way) of my life by asking me on my birthday July 5th 2024 to be with him forever. We were in the middle of the best trip to Croatia and Slovenia... two stunning countries full of nature and culture alike. It was a moment I'll never forget. Together we cannot wait to keep building our lives, travel, spend time with family and laugh and learn along the way. We love to travel so much we wanted to extend those vibes to our wedding where we can spend time creating memories and adventures in a small group setting. Together we are looking forward to a really unique honeymoon too. We can't wait to support each other through the next stages and advancements in our lives, whatever comes our way.

Alysia and I met through a womens growth/meetup group online back when people used blogging websites like livejournal. Even though text it was clear we had a really immediate connection. We quickly started traveling together our first trip was of course, Harry Potter World because we both bonded so much over our love for the series and reading in general. But have since been to San Fransisco, (Napa), Orlando (again), Portland and many other places together as well as explored our two home cities of Detroit and Seattle. She is the coolest hufflepuff I've ever met and a great mom to her young and sweet daughter Sadie.
Kasey Morris

Kasey and I met through our work place teaching dance at Valentina's School of Ballet. Even though she no longer works there we became fast and fierce friends. Its really fun this year, in 2025 we get to stand up in each others weddings which is super special. Kasey and I love to go to fitness classes and long walks with her two cool dogs. We love to be outside too. I look forward to year 2025 and celebrating each others love.
Gemma Beasley

Gemma and I met in Michigan through several work and dance connections. We became friends so quickly because we are so very alike. Although she lives in new york now our passions keep us connected. Both of us work in the same industry and have a big passion for the arts. We also love to try new places and new things together. (We are the type of friends who can split every meal because we always want the same thing). Together we are perfect travel friends and have been to Italy, Greece, and Tulum Mexico to name a few places together. I cannot wait for more adventures because it is always a good time.

Maid of Honor
Michelle and I became friends in Elementary school dancing together at the same local studio. What's so interesting about our friendship is that outside of that very first studio we have never been 'physically together'. We went to different dance studios, high schools, college, and lived in different states. Nothing matters because we are just so close and always have been. Together we have traveled the world, I got to visit her while she was living in Japan and we also went to Thailand. We both love to read, be outdoors, try new things and go on long walks with coffee of course. Really though, Michelle and I have seen each other through SO many unique and diverse stages of life.

Elizabeth (liz) and I have grown up together as cousins. Even from a super young age we were always really close and had so many things in common. I am so happy she decided to move to Ferndale from Chicago so I can see her and her beautiful dog Stevie. We both love to read and travel. A few years ago we went to Belize (this picture) and spent a blissful week reading and eating local food. I am so grateful to have her in the wedding party.

Nicole and I met in high school dancing together and rekindled our friendship after college randomly meeting at a Pure Barre Class. It was so fun reconnecting and we started working out together and became very close. We still enjoy taking a class when we can and also love to pick new restaurants to try in detroit. We have a long list of places still to try....and are open to recommendations. It was an honor to stand by her side in her wedding and have her in mine too.
Brent Koryba
Best Man
Brent and I have been friends since middle school. In the early years he was part of a core group of friends that hosted many a sleepover where we would stay up through the night playing video games, mostly called "Halofest." While we don't spend all night playing games anymore, we do regularly get together for bonfires and watch parties for whatever game we can. Brent is a class act. He's an amazing husband to his beautiful wife Jess, and the best dad to their son Kayde. I look up to Brent (literally) and all he's become, and I feel so fortunate to have a friend like him in my life. He's without a doubt one my best friends and I'm honored to call him my best man.

No wedding party would be complete without my one and only brother, Kyle. For 35 years my brother has been by my side. From sports, to scouts, to family vacations and everything in between he’s been there. Kyle is everything you’d want in a brother. He’s super handy, fiercely loyal, and he’s always got your back when you’re in need. He’s always impressed me with his tenacity and his ability to persevere no matter what life throws at him. Watching him grow in the man he is today, a husband to Megan, and father to his twins Summer and Sawyer has made me feel so proud. I couldn’t do this life without him, and for that reason he has to be my side as my groomsman.
Andrew Thompson

I've known Andrew since middle school when we were in scouts together. He was a huge part of my core group of friends growing up. If you ever find yourself with a chance to watch a lions or Michigan football game with Thompson, you will not regret it. It's clear his passions run deep, and this makes him such a good dad to his daughter Hannah and good husband to his wife Amanda. I had the opportunity to stand up as a part of his wedding and its really nice to extend it back to him and have him a part of mine.
Pat Tomlinson

I've known Pat since high school. Pat is my outdoorsy friend, he loves hunting, fishing, and camping... you name it and we've done it all. When Pat is in, he is all in so much so that when he was into biking he cycled from Kansas City to Boston. That is one of the things I admire the most about him. There is no one more loyal or who I would want in my corner more than Pat, which is why I am honored to have him in the wedding. He is a great dad to his kids Elenore and Leo too!
Ehren Quigley

Ehren and I met as fraternity brothers in college and we were in the same "family." While our friendship started there it really grew after I graduated. Ehren is one of the most knowledgeable and handy people I know, and between house projects and our careers our friendship really flourished as we were able to bounce ideas off one another. Ehren is the definition of work hard/play hard and will give you the shirt off his back. He's truly one of a kind and I feel honored to have him as my friend. I was fortunate to be able to stand up in his wedding this year and am excited to have him at mine. (He's also a stellar cat sitter.)

Brett and I are super close.... so close we only live one house apart. During the pandemic we were able to form a close bond. He is always the first one to host super fun parties, pig roasts, and neighborhood events. We both love to take trips to ski every year too. I am lucky that we get to be neighbors and friends. Brett is an amazing dad to his daughter Helen, who is super cool and also will be our flower girl in the wedding. Both Becca and I adore their family and his fun wife rachel. Brett's the guy you can always count on to be down for anything and I can't wait to bring his fun energy to Mexico.
